New jobs
Swearing-in ceremony for new Clovis City Commissioners is 3 p.m. today at City Hall.
Open to the public.
Parents invited and a show
Parent night for the incoming freshman class is 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today in the gym at the Clovis High School Freshman Academy.
Also, the Lincoln Jackson Family Center’s variety show is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today Admission is $1 per adult and $.25 per child.

The February Revolution (known as such because of Russia's use of the Julian calendar) begins when riots and strikes over the scarcity of food erupt in Petrograd.
One week later, centuries of czarist rule in Russia end with the abdication of Nicholas II, and Russia takes a dramatic step closer toward communist revolution.
