Parents invited and a show
Parent night for the incoming freshman class is 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today in the gym at the Clovis High School Freshman Academy.
Also, the Lincoln Jackson Family Center’s variety show is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today Admission is $1 per adult and $.25 per child.

The February Revolution (known as such because of Russia's use of the Julian calendar) begins when riots and strikes over the scarcity of food erupt in Petrograd.
One week later, centuries of czarist rule in Russia end with the abdication of Nicholas II, and Russia takes a dramatic step closer toward communist revolution.

Today — Yuk. Windy. Numerous showers and thunderstorms in the morning... then numerous rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the lower to mid 50s. Southwest wind gusts up to 45 mph.
Tonight — No let up. Windy...colder. Lows in the 30s. West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to around 50 mph.
