Of note: Tarleton was off to a 5-0 South start before losing twice last week to Midwestern during the LSC’s “Rivalry Week.” The Texans nearly pulled the upset at Wichita Falls, though, after getting thumped at home 66-49. … TSU beat the Greyhounds 76-36 on Jan. 20 at Stephenville, Texas — its second 40-point drubbing of ENMU at home in three seasons. The Texans have won the last five meeting and 23 of the last 24. … Four players average in double figures for Tarleton State, led by 6-4 junior G Devon Hills (12.8 ppg). … The Hounds have gone 5-6 at home this season.

Of note: All of Tarleton’s losses have come on the road (5-4) — by a total of 13 points. The TexAnns are 11-0 at home, but had some trouble with the Zias last month — ENMU led 21-16 at the break before falling 55-43. … Tarleton made its first national poll appearance in school history for two weeks last month, then returned to the Top 25 this week following its sweep of Midwestern State. The TexAnns are No. 24 in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll. … Tarleton is 18-12 all-time against ENMU and has won the last five meetings. … TSU has four players averaging in double figures, led by 5-6 sophomore G Shelby Adamson (11.3 ppg) and 6-0 senior P JoAnne Jones (11.2). … The Zias have struggled to a 2-8 mark at Greyhound Arena this season, beating Texas Woman’s (69-68) and Midwestern State (70-56). Three of their losses at home are by four points or less.
