ENMU's Clay wins LSC weekly honor

Eastern New Mexico University junior forward Cat Clay has been selected as the Lone Star Conference South Division Offensive Player of the Week for her performance in the Zias win at Cameron.

The Deming native paced the Zias with a 22-point performance, leading ENMU to a 79-74 win Saturday at Cameron. She hit five 3-pointers on the night and was 7-of-9 from the free throw line. It was her third 20-point game of the season.. The performance marked the third time this season and the sixth time in her career that Clay has reached the 20-point plateau.
