It looks like a short agenda for Portales City Council when it meets 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The city is expected to approve a notice of intent to adopt ordinance No. 686 for rezoning and an ordinance amending ordinance no. 387 to alter the official zoning map.
Also, the council will entertain a presentation of certificates of appreciation to retirees: Fire Chief John Bridges, Street Superintendent Joe Parie and Fire Battalion Chief Mickey Hargrove and presentation of certificates of appreciation to city employees and their departments.
