Portales Board of Education to meet Monday

On the agenda Monday for the Portales Municipal Schools Board of Education meeting at 6 p.m.:

• Recognition for Roosevelt General Hospital’s annual Christmas Card Project, a Special Olympics gold medalist the 3A volleyball runner-up Portales High School Rams.

• Authorizing the of $1.9 million in general obligation school bonds to be used for projects at several schools. The bond can only be used for remodeling, said Superintendent Randy Fowler.

• Budget adjustments, donations and revisions to board of education policy handbook.
