Remembering the Alamo
You don't have to drive to San Antonio to remember the Alamo.
West Texas A & M in Canyon is "Remembering The Alamo, 1836-2009" with an exhibit.
The collection looks at how the Alamo story has evolved since the famous battle.

Swine flu watch
The Centers for Disease Control is reporting a decrease in the number of cases of H1N1 in the country for the first time in 10 weeks.
Closer to home, the New Mexico Department of Health is reporting a decrease in the percentage of people seeking medical care for flu-like symptoms.
