Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
Eula Mae Edwards Museum/Gallery will be exhibiting the award-winning work of Suzy Powell, Plains, Texas watercolorist, from November 3 through December 18, 2009. Her art has been featured in North Light Magazine, on covers of Texas Country Register, Oklahoma Festival, Writers Post Journal, and Senior Connection (Chicago, Illinois).
Many of Powell’s scenes are sentimental and nostalgic including American flags, old vehicles, and western subjects. Holiday themed paintings and cards will also be on display.
The public is invited to a reception on Tuesday, November 10, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. to meet the artist and view her work in the museum/gallery at Clovis Community College, 417 Schepps Blvd.
