COMMERCE, Texas — Meagan Lasley scored off of her own rebound 3:57 into overtime, and Texas A&M-Commerce held visiting Eastern New Mexico to five shots for a 1-0 win in Monday afternoon’s Lone Star Conference matchup.
Lasley’s first shot in overtime deflected off Zia goalkeeper Sierra Cardenas, and back to Lasley for her eighth goal of the season.
Commerce (7-5, 2-2 LSC), which had gone scoreless for a 252:31 stretch before Lasley’s goal, outshot the visiting Zias 16-5.
Commerce’s Randi Hafele made three saves for the shutout, while Cardenas had six saves in the loss.
The Zias (7-7, 2-3) start a three-game homestand 3:30 p.m. Friday against Midwestern State.
