Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
According to the Portales News-Tribune, Becky Burns presented a copy of “Man Without A Country” to Mrs. W.A. Stroud of the Portales Public Library to be included in their collection of books. The book was the gift of the Yucca Society of Children of the American Revolution as a memorial to Mrs. Rose White, who was a CAR state promoter and especially interested in youth and patriotism.
