A BNSF Railway employee was killed Wednesday morning outside of Hereford.
Joe Faust, a spokesman for the railroad, said Larry Green, 53, was struck by a westbound train about 6:20 a.m. (CDT) near Mile Post 601.3, 47 miles west of Amarillo.
Green had been an employee of BNSF for 15 years. Faust said the train was equipped with cameras, and the incident is still under investigation.
