Place: Dalley Windmill Collection

Location: The collection is located on the personal property of owner Bill Dalley. The address is 1506 S. Kilgore Ave. in Portales. The collection is 17.5 miles or roughly a 25-minute drive from Cannon Air Force Base.

What activities can you enjoy at this location? You can take a stroll through one of the world’s largest personal windmill collections, which includes more than 80 windmills of all types and sizes.

What ages is this facility suited for? Any age is suitable.

What are admission prices? Free

What are the hours of operation? The collection can be viewed during daylight hours.

One special thing people can do or see here: You can view the first windmill that started Dalley’s collection in 1981. It is a Standard brand windmill retrieved from the Keith Greathouse farm in the Inez community of Fort Worth, Texas.
