Bingaman: Contractor selected to construct $7.9 million child development facility at Cannon Air Force Base

CLOVIS – U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman today reported that the Department of Defense has selected a contractor for construction of a new 23,304 square foot child development facility at Cannon Air Force Base. The cost of construction is $7.9 million; the contractor is based in California.

“I visited Cannon Air Force Base Tuesday morning and am very pleased to see how well it is handling its new mission. This new child development facility will be a great addition to the base,” Bingaman said.

The work is set to be completed by February 2011.
