Apparent accident victim dies of natural causes

A woman police initially thought was the victim of a fatal crash apparently died of natural causes Tuesday after pulling her car off the road near Grady.

Police were dispatched to Cemetery Road near Grady for a crash just before 5 p.m.

Upon arriving on scene, State police Capt. Jimmy Glascock said they discovered there had been no crash and the woman had died in her vehicle of natural causes.

The woman’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family. Glascock disclosed she was in her 70s.
