Police investigating hit-and-run

Clovis police are investigating a hit and run that injured a 30-year-old Roswell man.

According to a police report, Greg Nielson was walking in the area of Sycamore and Sharondale streets around 9 p.m. Monday when he was struck by a dark colored car headed northbound on Sycamore.

Nielson suffered injuries to his arms, legs and head and was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center, the report said.

According to police Capt. Patrick Whitney, Nielson was later airlifted to a Lubbock hospital where he was listed as stable Wednesday.
