Man injured in collision

The Curry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a noon crash that sent a man to a Lubbock hospital Thursday.

According to Undersheriff Wesley Waller, a vehicle driven by Jonathan DeLeon, 22, of Clovis was traveling south on U.S. 70 when it left the road, hit a soft shoulder causing it to roll over and hit a tree.

Waller said the driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was extricated from the vehicle and airlifted to a hospital in Lubbock.

The hospital declined to release a condition report.
