Clovis man arrested on charges of exploiting children

A 20-year-old Clovis man has been arrested and charged with 18 counts of sexual exploitation of children, according to a release from the Curry County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the release:
• The office searched the residence of Louis Garcia, 20, on Las Palomas Road on Monday with assistance from the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office and Clovis Police Department.
• A laptop computer was seized, and a preliminary scan of the hard drive found images and videos of child pornography.
• Garcia was booked into the Curry County Adult Detention Center and is being held on a $90,000 bond.
