Freedom New Mexico recognized by PPA

Freedom New Mexico

Newspapers in Clovis, Portales, Friona and Muleshoe all won multiple awards announced Saturday at the annual Panhandle Press Association convention in Amarillo.

Clovis, competing in Division II, won nine awards. Portales earned two laurels, also in Division II.

Muleshoe and Friona, competing in Division I, picked up eight awards each.

The Canyon News, in Division II, and The Canadian Record, in Division I, earned the General Excellence awards, the top prize.
