• The 3rd SOS won the 2008 Air Force Special Operations Command Meritorious Unit Award for the period of Oct. 1, 2007, to Sep. 30, 2008.
• The 73rd SOS and the 318th Special Operations Squadron were recently awarded Accident Free Flying Hour Award plates from Air Force Special Operations Command Safety.
