Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
A federal summer food services program that offers free breakfast and lunch to children starts Wednesday.
The program is open to children 18 years old and younger, according to Program Manager Johnny Chavez.
He said the program is held at 27 locations in Clovis.
Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Chavez said the program has been sponsored by the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for about 19 years and feeds about 3,000 children a day during the summer.
