Cannon possible site for nuclear reactor

Preliminary reports have surfaced indicating the Secretary of the Air Force is considering Cannon Air Force Base as the possible location for a nuclear reactor, according to a story published this morning in InsideDefense, an Internet news service covering defense and the aerospace industry.

InsideDefense reported the Secretary of the Air Force plans to sign a letter of intent for the plant by late 2008 and is considering both Cannon Air Force Base and Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho.
