Eastern New Mexico University in Portales is hosting an open house from 1-3 p.m. Sunday for the new San Juan Village student apartments and newly renovated Campus Union Building (CUB), according to an ENMU news release. Refreshments will be served in the CUB, and the public is invited.
Because of ongoing construction at San Juan Village, self-guided tours won’t be allowed. Student guides will take small groups on tour from the CUB.
San Juan Village will accommodate 267 students in one-, two- and four-bedroom apartments.
The CUB has been renovated with a new dining hall. In the basement is Ground Zero, featuring additional food choices and an entertainment area. Other building improvements include meeting rooms, new windows and renovated bathrooms.
