Report: Pizza deliverer robbed at gunpoint

A Clovis pizza delivery woman was robbed at gunpoint by two masked men around midnight Monday, according to police reports.

The 28-year-old told police she was delivering an order to a home in the 3000 block of La Fonda Street when the men approached her and one pointed a black handgun at her, a report said.

The man with the gun told her to put everything on the ground and then demanded her money. When she gave him what she had, according to the report, she said one of the men opened her car to check for any more money.

The men then picked up the food order and ran from the scene.

The total value of stolen food and money was estimated around $200.

The woman was unable to provide any identifying information. Police went to the home where the pizzas were being delivered and the resident, an elderly woman who appeared to have been sleeping, told them she hadn’t ordered a pizza, the report said.
