Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
The summer reading program at the Clovis-Carver Public Library has reached the halfway point and is a rousing success, according to organizer Krissie Carter.
“It’s been going wonderfully,” Carter said of the two-month program that concludes at the end of July.
Thursday’s children’s programs have been drawing crowds of around 100 children and parents, she said, with other daily programs averaging between five and 25.
The program offers free daily activities to children in varying age groups along with reading support and incentives.
