Bobby and Sonia Lopez of Clovis and Armando Ontiveros of Portales announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Shevon Cristan, to Cesar Castro, both of Clovis. He is the son of Roberto and Anna Castro of Clovis.
The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. Saturday at the First Assembly of God.
The reception will be at the American Legion Post 25.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Clovis High School. She is employed at Clovis Community College.
The prospective groom also is a 2004 graduate of Clovis High School. He is employed at SEI.
The ceremony is open to friends and relatives.
