Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
William (Bill) Bryan Trammell, 78, of Eunice died Friday, June 23, 2006, at the VistaCare Hospice Center in Albuquerque. He had lung cancer.
He was born in 1928 in Arch, the last of seven children. He graduated from high school at Portales in 1946. In addition to being a carpenter, he worked for the Eunice Municipal Schools, retiring in 1992 as the maintenance supervisor.
Family members said he was a gifted woodworker, an avid gardener and ardent baseball, football and bull-riding fan. He especially loved watching his son and grandsons play baseball, family members said.
He is survived by June, his wife of 58 years; a daughter, Paula Davis of Springfield Va.; a son, Greg Trammell (and wife, Candace) of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Michelle Davis, Chloe Pagel, and Brooks, Nolan and Rhett Trammell; and a great-grandson, William Davis.
