James A. Henry, 92, of Clovis, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at the Farwell Convalescent Center.
Born Jan. 5, 1914, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to Edward and Jennie Pratt Wright, he served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and retired from the Air Force in 1962. He was a member of 16th and Pile Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Henry; two stepsons, Roy Copeland of Texico and Milford Copeland of Greeley, Colo.; a nephew, Melvin Henry of San Jose, Calif.; a niece, Annie Pierce of Phoenix; numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Jim Gammon will officiate services. Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories.
Melburn Johnston, Bob Norris, Curtis Tabor, Don McCasland, John Prater and Ronnie Montague will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
