The lodge recessed for two months and will resume meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The Rebekah Lodge meets at the Oddfellow Hall, 405 Main Street on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.

Altrusa International of Clovis

The members of Altrusa International of Clovis met March 14 for their regular meeting. After hostesses served the evening meal, Maxine Odham, postmaster of the St. Vrain post office, presented the program.

The oldest federal building in the county, the St. Vrain post office will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2007, Odham said. It has no running water, she said, but there is an outhouse in the back!

The group received a post office packet that included booklets on preventing mail fraud, Homeland Security and women pictured on stamps. There was information on postal pricing, as well as online postal service.

Odham closed the program by answering questions from the members of Altrusa and then presented each with a commemorative pin of a postage stamp.

The next meeting will be a business meeting at noon Tuesday.
