Richardson, Wanda

Wanda Mae Richardson, 72, of Tehachapi, Calif., died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006. She was born July 15, 1933, in Radon, Okla., to Charles and Lily Barker.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arval Richardson.

She is survived by a brother, Virgil Barker (and wife, Hazel) of Fresno, Calif.; a stepson, J.T. Richardson of Bakersfield, Calif.; two daughters, Sharron Pitocco (Mike) of Tehachapl, Calif., and Sandra Martinez (Pete) of Portales; a son, Harold Chancellor (Sandra) of Lancaster, Calif.; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She worked as a dispatcher for an ambulance service, a nurse’s assistant and a daycare provider.

Family members said she enjoyed helping others and loved sewing, gardening canning and crocheting.

Arraignments are by the Wood Family Funeral Service of Tehachapi, Calif.
