Errol Keith Pruitt

Errol Keith Pruitt, 74, of Santa Rosa, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, in Hobbs.

He was born Aug. 12, 1931, in Melrose, to Pat and Thelma Beavers Pruitt. He married Rosetta Bennett on Dec. 24, 1952. He owned and operated Pruitt Construction Co. and the Rambling Rose RV Park in Santa Rosa. He was a member of the Liberty Masonic Lodge No. 51 AF&AM in Santa Rosa.

Family members said he was an avid domino player and loved playing pool.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Garry.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Debbie Pruitt of Hobbs, LaJuana Spaeth of Bradenton, Fla., and Evelyn Schultz of Pinedale, Wyo.; a son, Larry Pruitt of Staunton, Va.; a sister, Peggy Laney of Midland, Texas; and four brothers, Mickey Pruitt of Huntsville, Ala., Neal Pruitt of House, Jerry Pruitt of Roswell and Terry Pruitt of Evanston, Wyo.

Roger Crarfer will officiate services.

Arrangements are by Griffin Funeral Home of Hobbs.
