Johnye “Noni” Eubank, 92, of Farwell, died Saturday at her daughter’s residence in Paradise, Texas.
She was born April 29, 1913, to William Madison and Annie Berta Smith in Ratcliff, Texas.
She married Horace Eubank in Vernon, Texas, on Jan. 22, 1934.
She was a graduate of O’Donnell High School and a longtime resident of Meadow, Texas, where she taught Sunday school for many years at The First Baptist Church. She and her family moved to Farwell from Meadow, and she lived in Farwell as a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Morris Smith, and a sister, Ruth Jones.
She is survived by a son, J.W. “Sonny” (wife Lee Nell) Eubank of Farwell; a daughter, Betty Jean (Randy) Kelley of Paradise, Texas; a brother, Hal Smith of Athens, Texas; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gary Patterson and Randy Mullin will officiate services
