Med Group to offer Acute Care Walk-in Service

The 27th Medical Group is pleased to announce the launch of its new Acute Care Walk-in Service on Monday.

This service is for beneficiaries enrolled in Family Practice and will be open Monday through Friday. Check-in times Monday through Thursday will be from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 3:30 p.m.; Fridays, check-in time will begin at 8 a.m.

The clinic will be closed holidays, down days, during readiness training and other official military functions.

A nurse will be present to triage patients and ensure their needs can be met in the Acute Care Walk-in Service. Patients will be seen based on the urgency of care needed, not the order of arrival.

This is not to be used for routine appointments, follow-ups, referral services, medication refills, or profile updates; for these services, please call the appointment line at 784-2778 to schedule an appointment or telephone consult with your Primary Care Manager.
