Hobbies/Involvement: Alpha Phi Omega, worship leader at the True Vine Church of God in Christ in Amarillo.

Q. Name one thing you like about yourself.

A. “I try to include others.”

Q. What do you visualize your life being like in 10 years?

A. “Hopefully, I will have started my family and will be a social worker.”

Q. Tell us about your parents:

A. “My father is Pastor Lon K.Thomas and my mom is Connie F. Thomas and they love the Lord.

They taught me to be fair with myself and always show respect.”

Q. What is your greatest hope?

A. “That I will be everything that I was meant to be.”

Q. Tell us about your spouse:

A. “My husband is a great listener. He’s always available to me and he puts me first. There’s no one better than him and I admire him because he’s unique. He’s my best friend, he’s my everything.”

Q. Tell us about your greatest individual accomplishment:

A. “Learning to depend on God.”

Q. What advice would you give to high school graduates?

A. “Life is not promised to anyone so live today, love someone and don’t live life so critical.”

Q. When you were a kid, what did you think you would be doing as an adult?

A. “Telling people what to do”

Q. Do you have children? How have they influenced your life?

A. “I don’t have children of my own, but I have four nieces and they keep me own my toes. Their bluntness reminds me of how easy it is to be honest.”

Q. What is your favorite song? Why?

A. "Words Just Cannot Explain, by Sue Roseberry. That was the song being sung when I was filled with the Holy Spirit in 2003.”

Q. What is the one thing you’ve always wanted to do but have been afraid to try?

A. “Skydiving. I’ve always wanted to do that and I know I probably never will because I’m afraid of heights.”

Q. What is your favorite smell?

A. “Anything that my momma cooks ”

Q. What is your idea of a perfect day?

A. “Communing with God about everything.”

A. “Child of God.”
