PLAINVIEW, Texas — Junior outside hitter Randi Trew collected 13 kills and six digs Tuesday night, lifting Wayland Baptist past Eastern New Mexico University 23-30, 30-24, 31-29, 30-17 in the volleyball season opener for both teams.
Freshman middle hitter Analicia Estrada added 10 kills while freshman setter Abby Loerwald compiled 10 digs and 36 assists for the Pioneers.
ENMU got 16 kills from senior middle blocker Lindsey Schiely, 10 kills and seven digs from junior middle blocker Grace George and six kills and 11 digs from senior outside hitter Kristi Britain.
