Spencer Greathouse

Mr. Spencer Dwayne Greathouse, 62, of Hereford died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at home.

He was born Aug. 14, 1942, in Clovis to Spencer S. and Pauline (Kirby) Greathouse. He worked at Hereford Auto Parts for many years, was a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of the Elk’s Lodge of Hereford.

Family members said he will be honored at the 48th annual Greathouse Reunion today in Clovis.

He is survived by a son, David Greathouse of Clovis; five sisters, Floretta Rogers of Clovis, Karen Goddin of Fletcher, Okla., Sandra Crowley of Griffin, Ga., Sheryl Abdill of Clovis; and Paula Goins of Griffen, Griffin, Ga.

The Rev. Jim Peabody will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parkside Chapel Funeral Home of Hereford.
