Franz Harvey Wilson, 65, of Caballo, died Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque.

He was born on Jan. 29, 1940, in Longdale, Okla., to Buck Lowe and Josie Bell Chaloupek Wilson.

He earned an associate degree in wastewater management. He was a resident of the Caballo area for the past 12 years, and was a former water and wastewater supervisor for the City of Truth or Consequences. He was active with the Boy Scouts and was a scout master and troop leader for Boy Scouts Troop No. 333.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his wife, Judy C. Wilson; three sons, Brent Wilson (and wife, Deborah) of Albuquerque, Kevin Wilson of Clovis and Grant Wilson (and wife, Shauna) of Tucumcari; his father; three step-children, Jerry Autrey of Truth or Consequences, Tim Crosswhite of Lubbock and Jinah Sanders (Darren) of Nogal; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Dr. Buck R. Wilson (Roberta) of Portales; two sisters, Dorothy Jo Meaders of Roswell and Faye Foley of Portales.

Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. today at the chapel of Kirikos Family Funeral Home in Truth or Consequences.

The Rev. Mike Skidmore will officiate the services.

Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Portales Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Brent, Kevin and Grant Wilson, Darren Sanders, Bo Easley, Zac Dwyer and Jerry Autrey.

Brent Wilson Jr. is an honorary pallbearer.

Arrangements are by Kirikos Family Funeral Home of Truth or Consequences.
