Mr. Edward Donald Aucoin, 68, of Clovis, died Friday, April 15, 2005, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Amarillo.
He was born on Nov. 28, 1936, in Henniker, N.H., to Wilfred and Therese Favreau Aucoin.
He married Norma Nudd on Dec. 28, 1963, in Henniker, N.H. He served in the Army Reserves for five years. He was a mechanic and the Greyhound Bus Station manager. He was one of the founders of the Henniker Rescue Squad and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Family members said he enjoyed woodworking, car racing, traveling and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lillian Aucoin Stitz; a brother, Maurice Aucoin; a daughter, Tammy Ann Aucoin; and a grandson, Joel Gallegos.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Brenda Lee Aucoin Schallert of Tucumcari, and Marlene Aucoin and Marilyn Aucoin, both of Clovis; a granddaughter, Jennifer Schallert; three grandsons, Dagan Gallegos, Joseph Schallert IV and Gideon Aucoin; a brother, Roger Aucoin of Henniker, N.H.; three sisters, Bernadette Crane, Jeannine Aucoin and Rita Murdough, all of Henniker, N.H.; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
