Reents still finalist for Clovis' superintendent

Tucumcari school Superintendent Bill Reents said Monday he has not withdrawn from consideration as Clovis’ next superintendent as had been reported.

Clovis School Board President Terry Martin said Reents is scheduled to interview for the job at 5 p.m on Monday. He is one of five finalists for the position.

Reents said he has withdrawn from consideration of the superintendent’s position in Los Lunas, where he was also a finalist, but said he still wants the job in Clovis.
