Gary Andrew Flintom

Gary Andrew “Grump” Flintom, 48, of Clovis died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, in his home.

He was born Jan. 10, 1957, to Samuel Gant and Shirley Ann Rich Flintom in London, England. He married Shyla M. Williams on Dec. 27, 2002, in Jacksonville, Fla. He managed his family’s businesses for the past 20 years.

Family members said he loved music and formed a band named Stanley, wrote his own music and lyrics and produced a CD. He also designed his own bass guitar, traveled extensively and was a published photographer.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Shirley Ann Flintom of Clovis; a sister, Beverly Flintom of Jacksonville; a daughter, Christian Clarissa Flintom of Palmer, Ala.; and nephew, Denver Gant Flintom of Jacksonville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Gant Flintom; and a twin sister, Debra Ann Flintom.

Pastor David Swann and Pastor Maurice Monson will officiate the services. Cremation has taken place.
