Pearl O. Woody, 93, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at her home.

She was born in 1912, in Santa Anna, Texas, to Robert E. and Effie Mae McDonald.

She attended Ranchville School. She married Byron W. Woody on Dec. 20, 1934, in Deaf Smith County, Texas.

She was a member of Anna Street Church of Christ and the Republican Party.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Ruth Hooper and Jewell Milne; and six brothers, Arthur, Carl, Hubert, Bill, Ollie and A.D. McDonald.

Survivors include two daughters, Carole Mullins of Amarillo and LaVonne Farr of Littlefield, Texas; three sons, Arlen Woody of LaMarque, Texas, Lyndal Woody of Amarillo, and Anthony Woody of Houston; three sisters, Imogene Mangus of Los Banos, Calif., Johnnie Brown of Clovis, and Pauline Owen of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Gene Shelburne and Lyndon Latham will officiate the services.

Visitation is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. (CST) until 8 p.m. Friday at Schooler Funeral Home in Amarillo.
