Mrs. Gay Slaughter Stelzig, 51, of Clovis, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at her home in Clovis.

She was born on Oct. 28, 1953, in Clovis, to Jean and Jack Slaughter. She graduated form Clovis High School in 1972 and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of Post No. 3015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Stelzig; her mother; and a sister, Betty Woodall.

Survivors include a daughter, April Williams of Clovis; her father; two brothers, Billy Slaughter of Clovis and Wade Woodall of North Carolina; and a sister, Joann Garcia of Clovis.

The Rev. Mike Gilchrest will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jay Duncan, Joseph Garcia, Greg Jennings, Charles Williams and Leland Stanford.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
