Jan. 9 Dora School News

School was back in full swing on Monday morning. All staff and students had been out since Dec. 16 and may had visited for part of that time. All seemed happy to be back for another semester of studies.

Remodeling

The remodeling continued even in the days school was out.

Catered on wheels

The kindergarten class have now joined the preschool kids in the elementary II building for the breakfast and lunch time food. The area is so changed now, due to getting ready for the addition. It is just too far around for them to come around now. It’s been too cold and wet for the teachers to walk them over, so the little food cart takes all food over to their building.

Basketball

Upcoming junior high games are Tuesday against Texico junior high; Thursday against Floyd Jr. High at 5:00 p.m.; Friday, as our A and B boys and girls play in Logan at 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, boys and girls go to Fort Sumner and play at 10:00 a.m.; Jan. 18, the A boys and girls and Jr. varsity boys play at Elida at 4:00 p.m.
