Upcoming events

• School board will meet Monday at 7 p.m.

• Final Exams are Dec. 20-22.

• Classes will dismiss for Christmas Holidays at noon on Dec. 22. They will resume Jan. 4.

Basketball

• Tuesday, Junior High Boys and Girls vs. Elida at Elida, 4:30 p.m.

• Friday, JV Girls and Boys, Varsity Girls and Boys, vs. Logan at Floyd, 4 p.m.

Football

All District 1st team: Jerrod Long, Bryan Johnson; Erikson Johnson made special teams.

All-District 2nd team: Offensive: Manny Carrillo, Brad Lee; Defense: Manny Carrillo, Erikson Johnson, and Jonathan Mitchell; special teams: Jason Martinez.

Food Drive

Floyd NHS would like to thank all students, parents, faculty and staff who brought food for the food drive. More than 1,100 cans of food were donated. The classes that brought the most food in were: Elementary, Kindergarten; Middle school, 6th grade; High School, 10th grade.

Spelling bee

Elementary classes will have their spelling bees on Dec. 21. The school spelling bee will be Jan. 14.
