Mrs. Geno Oliver Walker, 91, of Clovis, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at Walnut Hill Place in Dallas.
She was born on May 14, 1913, in St. Joseph, Mo., to Eugene and Edna Oliver.
She attended public school in Clio, Iowa where she graduated as valedictorian of her high school class. She attended the Chillocothe Business College in Chillicothe, Mo. She married Roy S. Walker on May 16, 1931, in Clovis. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clovis, the United Methodist Women, the Women’s Bible class, PEO–Chapter “G”, and the Duplicate Bridge Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Walker of Clovis (and wife, Phyllis) and Lyle Walker (Kathy) of Dallas; seven grandchildren, Mike, Jeff, Layne, Greg, Scott and Trent Walker and Laura Hampton; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Steve McElroy will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
Pallbearers are her grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Clovis, N.M., the Clovis-Carver Library, or the Clovis Community College library.
