Flora Trujillo, 70, of Clovis, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1933, in Mosquero, to Juan and Sophia Gonzalez Sanchez.

She married Clyde Trujillo on March 18, 1953, in Tucumcari. Family members said she was a housewife, a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and loved making blankets.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Lawrence Trujillo; a nephew, Louis Sanchez; a sister, Theresa Hernandez; and two brothers, Trini Sanchez and Tony Sanchez.

Survivors include three sons, Ben, Emilio and Michael Trujillo, all of Clovis; four daughters, Carolina Montoya and Cleo Alaniz, both of Clovis, Joanne Galvan of Dumas, Texas, and Frances Herrera of Nucla, Colo.; two sisters, Domicinda Baca of Clovis and Sophia Roybal of Portales; a brother, Leroy Sanchez of San Pedro, Calif.; 21 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

A rosary is scheduled for 7 tonight at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Clovis.

Father Carlos Chavez will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.

Pallbearers are Lawrence and Matthew Trujillo, Edward Herrera, John Ortiz, Carlos Miranda and Manuel Montoya.

Honorary pallbearers are Juan Gallegos, Louisa Rodriguez, Donna Martinez, Nicki and Johnny Sanchez and Joe Trujillo.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
