Mr. Robert Joseph McClelland, 80, a retired auto mechanic from Clovis, died, Monday, May 31, 2004, in his home.
He was born Dec. 10, 1923, in Olean, New York, to John and Lula McClelland.
Mr. McClelland was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Lily Taylor, Estella Worrod, Louella Conover and Jeanne Hutchinson; and two brothers, Ed McClelland and John Arthur McClelland.
He is survived by his wife, Alene McClelland of the home in Clovis; two sons, John Dee McClelland (and wife, Judy) of Homer, La., and Edward McClelland (Rosalie) of Clarksville, Ark.; two stepsons, Cavin Jacobs (Michelle) of Gilbert, Ariz., and Charles Roebuck (Christie) of Clovis; three grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place.
Dr. Steve McElroy will officiate the services.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis.
