Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities

May 23 Dora School News

This was the last week of school for grades 1-12. The elementary awards assembly was from 8:30-10:30 a.m. These students have accomplished alot this year and I am very proud of each of them. Of course, they are just regular kids and some are a little rambunctious and others are absolutely adorable, but all are loved and encouraged to do their best.

Grades 7-12

These received their awards in an afternoon assembly from 1-3:45 p.m. Our school gets a good report about our students courtesy and integrity just about everywhere they go in sports or our extra curricular activities. These teachings usually began in the homes at quite a young age and they continue in their careers and on into being taught to their offspring. Now they aren’t perfect — but neither are we, their parents and grandparents.

Graduation

There are 12 seniors in the class this year. The graduation will be in the Luscombe Gym today at 3 p.m. We wish each of them much happiness and success as they step out into a very competitive future.

Awards

All academic and sports awards were given to each one being honored. The awards will be a testimony to each of their families and friends.
