Commodities

On Friday the commodities will be given out at the Elida Senior Center starting at 9 a.m. Bring your usual proof of address and income. If you aren’t sure if you are able to get these come and talk to Sharon that day.

Free

Evelyn and Jerry Smith of the Branding Iron Cafe along with Paula and Betty will be serving free hot dogs to all the school children on Friday at the cafe. They will also serve burgers to the adults for half price that day. This is to celebrate the end of the school year.

Shower

There will be a baby shower to celebrate the birth of Amy Lyn Anthony, daughter of Beth and Adam, at the Elida Methodist Church Sunday in the Fellowship Hall at 2 p.m. All are invited to come and see this cutie.

Around Town

Barney Chandler recently enjoyed a visit from his daughter, Carolina from Las Cruces.
