Erma Patterson, 61, of Belen died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2004, in Belen.

She was born on March 24, 1942, in Mountainair to Frank and Theresa Bernal.

As a child she lived in the Monzano Mountains and later moved to Belen where she graduated. She played the violin, guitar, piano and accordion. She moved to Clovis in 1970 where she worked at Golden Age Nursing Home. She moved back to Belen in 1990.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Patterson of Belen; three daughters, Carol Gutierrez (and husband, Ronald) of Casa Colorado and Corine Revak (Floyd Jaramillo) and Shirley Patterson, all of Belen; her parents; a brother, William John Bernal of Punta De Agua; two sisters, Eloisa “Lotty” Pineda (Victor) of Punta De Agua and Elizabeth “Betty” Bernal of Belen; seven grandchildren, Kevin Revak, Andrew Jaramillo, Marie and Emilio Diaz, Jennifer and Adrian Azbill and Robert Griego; three great-grandchildren, Anna Christina and Alejandro Diaz and Jesse Azbill; two nieces, Theresa Gonzales (Michael) of Meadow Lake and Norma Pineda of Punta De Agua; two nephews, Victor “Carlos” Pineda Jr. (Lisa) of California and Steve Pineda of Punta De Agua; and five grand-nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Norbert C. Sanchez officiated the services.

Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements were by Riverside Funeral Home of Belen.
