Dorothea Sue Arnold, 86, of Aztec died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1917, in Topeka, Kan.

A resident of Aztec since 1959, she was active in the America Legion Auxiliary, the Girl’s State Program and the Women’s Society of Christian Service at the Aztec Methodist Church. In her later years she helped at the Aztec Senior Citizen’s Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow “Woody” Wilson Arnold; and her twin brother, Dean Myers.

Survivors include two sons, Roy Arnold (and wife, Sharon) of Iron Mountain, Mich., and Gene Arnold (Stephanie) of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Bill Ivins officiated the services in Aztec.

Arrangements are by Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington.
