Portales parlor company expands
PBI Parlor Systems of Portales purchased Ross-Holm inc. of Petaluma, Calif., on Feb. 4, according to a news release.
PBI Parlor Systems designs and builds parallel, herringbone and drop-rail stalls, along with crowd gates, the release said. It has been in business since 1989.
For 60 years, Ross-Holm has designed and marketed stalls, back flush systems, digital vacuum gauges, crowd gates, pinch valves, cooling equipment, plate heat exchangers and other items.
“Their line-up, when added to our own, allows us the ability to provide a more complete line of equipment needed for a high-efficiency parlor,” said Steve Peacock, owner.
The new company is called PBI Ross-Holm and will be headquartered in Portales.
